Custom wheel displays for MICHE in the Dolomites

How do you display a carbon bike wheel on a stand when no catalogue holder is designed for it? That was the question MICHE, the Italian rim and component manufacturer, brought to us for its events in the Dolomites.

A wheel is not displayed like a garment or a shoe. Our design office developed a dedicated fixing, shaped around the rim: it holds the wheel at the right height on the slatwall panel and keeps the profile fully visible, both head-on and at an angle.

The panels themselves were customised with the MICHE logo. The result is a stand that stays recognisable from one event to the next, and goes up in minutes under a marquee, outdoors, in the mountains.

From the drawing to the workshop, all in-house

Designing a specific part only matters if you can actually produce it. Our display stands are drawn and then manufactured in our own workshop near Lyon, in aluminium or wood. That is what lets us deliver a bespoke part alongside the rest of the stand, on the same lead time, without going through a subcontractor.
